Amanda & Branden’s KISS Album

This album is a 10×10 with 30 SPREADS!  It turned out great, I’m very excited to deliver it to them!  KISS wedding books are the best, hands down!!

Fall cleaning?

I was rummaging through the equivalent of a junk closet on one of my hard drives and found a few old photos that I had always meant to edit but never touched…  This photo was taken in 2005 and shot with a then high quality Canon 10D…    I may have some more like this as I’m now preparing to do a complete reinstall as I move to Windows 7….

Salamanca Spain

Another photo from my trip to Salamanca Spain during the month of August… This shot is handheld for 1.6 seconds. I used a pilar in the Plaza for support… The building came out a bit soft, but successful considering I didn’t have a tripod or my super clamp… 

Mary Rose & Nick

What can I say, I’m a photographer who likes to have fun!  I’m silly and bit strange at times, but those are some of the quirks in my personality that make me who I am.  Mary Rose & Nicks wedding was an absolute blast and I have the pictures to prove it.  I was looking at the 400+ proofs and looking at patterns and what jumped out at me was the fact that about 1/3 of the photos or more were from the reception.  The party didn’t get started until everyone hit the dance floor.  I was there for all of it, I witnessed everything as I was a fly on the wall watching and waiting for THAT moment when everyone would here the CLICK, POP, SNAP, POP of the shutter and my beautiful friend, my Elinchrom strobe light that I was using with my trusty Pocket Wizards.  It was fun, everyone was great, and I will never forget it.

It is time to say goodnight..

Throbbing; aching; my feet are killing right now.  It has been a long day, but one that I will never regret.  Today was Mary Rose & Nick’s wedding day.  My day started at noon at the Day Spa in De Pere, WI, shooting candids and laughing and having fun.  We moved on the Old St. Joes for a beautiful ceremony.  The weather couldn’t have been better, and the sunlight pierced through the stained glass making for beautiful photos.  We then ran to the Radisson Hotel to the ballroom where I had a great time with everyone.  The music was loud and everyone was dancing and having a great time.  Overall, a very successful wedding day, and great photos to show for it.  All and all, I wish Mary Rose & Nick much happiness and congratulations.  Now time for my shower, pajamas, and my slippers.  My feet will thank me.

New Website – Kind of…

So, I’ve done it.  I’ve published what I’ve gotten done so far on my site.  My old site was outdated, bland, and needed to be brought closer to Web 2.0.  I feel that I’m off and running, but there is a lot of work ahead of me.  I am exicted to have my print store open and I will diligently keep up with my blog!  Take a look and I’m always on the lookout for constructive critiques!

Home alone and productivity…

So here I am in an almost unsettling state of quiet.  My wife and two daughters are right now enjoying a sunrise in Salamanca Spain, while I sit here wanting to work, but yet unable to be That motivated.   I have a BUNCH of new photos I need to be working on while thinking about two Business Law assignements due by Tuesday… Hmm which should I start right now… Maybe I’ll watch True Blood instead and then ask myself the same question again…

Getting Started

I’m very excited to begin blogging on a regular basis.  I feel as though the things that happen everyday to me may be of interest to some and at least a hearty laugh for others.

I am a wedding/lifestyle photographer in Appleton, WI as well as a MBA student.  This blog will supplement my upcoming revision of my website!
